Just weeks after learning Taylor Frankie Paul was returning for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the reality TV personality and content creator has seemingly quit the hit Hulu show.
Paul took to Instagram Monday to air out her side of the story in a lengthy post. “My gratitude goes to all the networks that supported me throughout this and gave me the chance to return. However I don’t desire to move forward like this,” she said in the post.
She continued, “I originally was willing to be removed to let them all continue on with less stress and I’m back to that point. Some of the girls know what I’ve been through and then to turn and collectively pile on with their ‘statements’ knowing there has been ongoing abuse through the system the last 8 months on top of what I’ve endured, Almost the entire cast plus some, going at me … laughing about my kids is disgusting. And I bit my tongue there.”

The show’s sixth season is in active production, and it’s unclear whether Paul had already shot for the upcoming season. In Monday’s post, Paul responded to a comment suggesting what’s happening to her is bullying, saying in the statement it’s been “to the point of bullying for months now.”
Paul also insinuated that her fellow cast members told her to demand more pay, as her “voice was the only one that can make it happen and then they would work” from her demands. “I’m grateful I never followed through with their requests of demands and I’m grateful I kept same pay out of fairness and integrity,” she continued. “I treated production and crew with respect always, in fact they are ones who checked on me throughout this.”
The news comes just one week after one of Paul’s fellow castmembers Mikayla Matthews revealed that she would be leaving the show. “There’s no amount of money worth going against my morals or changing the stance I’ve had since I first saw and heard the things that made me feel this strongly,” she said in her statement.

Matthews has already filmed for season six, so it’s unclear whether she will officially exit the cast mid-season six or for Mormon Wives‘ seventh season, which has already been ordered by Hulu.
The show has been riddled with controversy in recent months following a production pause due to an alleged domestic incident involving Paul and her ex Dakota Mortensen, which preceded ABC‘s later decision to pull Paul’s season of The Bachelorette. Paul and Matthews have been embroiled in a nasty social media feud that sparked after ABC pulled The Bacheloretteseason 22. The installment was yanked from air a few days before its release after a video of Paul throwing barstools at Mortensen from a 2023 domestic violence incident, which led to her arrest.
Other cast members have floated potentially leaving the show. “I just love her so much. It’s such an impossible situation for everyone involved but I’m finishing out season 6 and then tbd,” Mormon Wives star Layla Taylor said about Matthews leaving the show in an Instagram Story response. Mayci Neeley shared a similar sentiment on a TikTok video comment, saying she’d finish out the season and then she’s not sure after that.
The Hollywood Reporter reached out to reps for Hulu and Paul for additional comment but did not hear back by the time of publication.
