Christy Carlson Romano is revealing an awkward moment she had at thePrincess Diaries premiere party years and years ago.
The former Even Stevens star revealed she was invited to the 2000 party by her co-star Ty Hodges, who was friends with one of the film’s leads, Erik von Detten.
Christy Carlson Romano referred to Mandy Moore as a “mean girl”
She explained that she approached Heather Matarazzo at the party, who co-starred in the film alongside Anne Hathaway. However, it was an alleged experience with their Mandy Moore, another actress in the fan favorite film, that left a mark.
“I knew [Heather] from doing something for MTV in New York City before she was, like, hitting it big with this new feature film. So I go up to Heather and I’m like, ‘Hey, do you remember, we worked together…’ And Heather was kind of awkward and she was like, ‘Yeah, no, I don’t remember,’” Christy recalled during her appearance on Page Six Radio.
Christy then shared, “Mandy was next to [Heather] and Mandy kind of did this, like, [laugh]. I was so hurt by it. I was like, ‘Mandy’s a mean girl!’ I didn’t know what to make of it, but I did crash that party, man.”
