Additional casting has just been revealed for Heated Rivalry season two!
The hit Crave series adaptation of Rachel Reid‘s “Game Changers” book series has announced five more new cast members.
Among the characters just announced to be cast are Zane Boodram and Dallas Kent, who is getting a name change for the TV show.
Heated Rivalry season two is currently in production in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and fans are eagerly waiting for the new episodes to drop next spring!
The upcoming, highly anticipated second season will primarily focus on “The Long Game,” while adding elements of other books, including “Role Model.”

Brendan Morgan as Zane Boodram
Brendan Morgan has been cast as Zane “Bood” Boodram, who is the alternate captain of the Ottawa Centaurs, the team Ilya Rozanov joins to be closer to Shane Hollander.
David Tomlinson as Cody Kent
David Tomlinsonis joining the cast as Cody Kent, who is being renamed for the TV series. The character in the books is named Dallas Kent.
He is the center of the Toronto Guardians, who faced rape and sexual assault allegations, and was a close friend of Troy Barrett (Charlie Gillespie). Dallas, or Cody, is also known to be quite homophobic and sexist.
Gerry Dee as Coach Cooper
Gerry Dee is also joining the cast, where he’ll play Coach Cooper, the coach of the Toronto Guardians.
Michelle Mylett as Lisa
Michelle Mylett is joining the cast as Lisa, who is a doctor and the wife of Ottawa Centaurs player Wyatt Hayes, who will be played by Robert Naylor.
If you didn’t know, Michelle is another good friend of Heated Rivalry creator Jacob Tierney, and she also starred in his show Letterkenny!
Lauren Chan as Gen
Lauren Chan has been announced to be playing Gen. She is an employee of the Ottawa Centaurs team who works alongside social media manager Harris Drover (Justice Smith).
Nick Stahl as Curtis Barrett
Nick Stahl is joining the cast as Curtis Barrett, the father to Charlie Gillespie‘s Troy Barrett.
