Hanuman Ansh continued its impressive theatrical run on Saturday, September 19, recording a near 95 per cent jump in its India net collection. The Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand-starrer earned Rs 9.75 crore net on Day 44, taking its total India net collection past the Rs 250-crore mark to Rs 258.13 crore, according to trade website Sacnilk.The film, which was screened across 7,119 shows on its seventh Saturday, recorded an overall occupancy of 30 per cent.
Its Day 44 collection marked a significant increase from the Rs 5 crore it earned on Friday, September 18. The film had registered 18 per cent occupancy across 6,462 shows on Day 43.With the latest addition, Hanuman Ansh has reached Rs 258.13 crore in India net after 44 days in theatres. Its India gross collection has also climbed to Rs 304.80 crore.The film witnessed a noticeable rise in audience turnout on its seventh Saturday, with its occupancy increasing from 18 per cent on Friday to 30 per cent on Saturday.
The jump in collections also comes after the film earned Rs 5 crore on Day 43. Hanuman Ansh has continued to maintain its momentum in the domestic market even in its seventh week, while also receiving contributions from overseas markets.Morning screenings recorded 14 per cent occupancy, while afternoon shows saw 32.62 per cent. Evening screenings witnessed a further rise to 42.23 per cent, with night shows recording the highest occupancy of the day at 45 per cent.The film also maintained its momentum in overseas markets, adding Rs 1.50 crore to its overseas gross on Day 44.
This took the worldwide gross to Rs 329.30 crore.Hanuman Ansh is based on Divine Detour: That Changed My Life and draws inspiration from the life of Neem Karoli Baba.Set in pre-Independence India, the film follows Lakshmi Narayan, a young boy who loses his mother and leaves home in search of God.
