Departing ‘Days of our Lives’ Stars Land Major New TV Roles Ahead of Last Airdate

In a few short months, Holly and Tate exit Salem and the Days of our Lives scene, as Ashley Puzemis (Holly Jonas) and Leo Howard (Tate Black) finished taping earlier this year. However, they won’t be off the small screen for long, as both performers have landed new roles on primetime series.

Howard is joining the cast of Yellowjackets for its fourth and final season, according to the show’s official Instagram account. “The Wilderness welcomes these new faces to the cast of #Yellowjackets Season 4,” the show announced in a post, accompanied by a carousel of photos depicting new cast members.

While there is no word on who Howard will play in the will be joining some big names coming aboard for season 4, including Molly Ringwald, June Squibb, Eric Stoltz, Cynthia Stevensen, and Devon Sawa. The Paramount +/Showtime series premiered in 2021 and follows the lives of the members of a girls’ soccer team that gets lost in and learns to survive in the Canadian wilderness

In January, Soap Opera Digest confirmed that Howard, Puzemis, Carson Boatman (Johnny DiMera), and Raven Bowens (Chanel Dupree DiMera) had been let go from the soap after the show’s holiday break. With DAYS taping about 10 months in advance, we can expect to see all four actors on screen for another few months as their storylines wrap up.
