Jane Seymour and Joe Lando are remembering the real-life romance that began while they were filming Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.
The actors reunited for a panel about the CBS series at 90s Con in Hartford, Conn. on Saturday (October 17). Jane, 75, played Dr. Michaela Quin, while Joe, 64, starred as Byron Sully, her love interest on the show.
Selma Blair made her first public appearance since her recent arrest at the same con.

During the panel, Jane recalled that a flash flood hit while they were on set in the show’s early days. Joe urged her to get into his pickup truck so they could escape the danger.
“We got out of there and it was like the craziest thing ever,” Jane said, per People.
They ended up going out for Mexican food and margaritas.
“And it took us like $5, and then we realized that, you know, we had actually fallen in love,” she revealed, adding, “So everything you saw on Dr. Quinn, certainly in the pilot [was real.]”
They did break up not longer after that,
They did break up not longer after that, but have remained very close over the years and even lived together for a while after Joe‘s home was damaged in a fire.
“We realized that Joe really needed to — he had a plan. He had a, was it a four-child white picket fence [plan]? And a younger wife plan,” Jane said, adding that at that point, she already had children “and I was older and I was never gonna be able to have [more] kids.”
Joe has been married to his wife Kristen since 1997. Jane is engaged to ER physician John Zambetti. She also has four children.
Last December, Jane made a racy confession about her romantic life!
