There will be no Season 2 for Syfy’s “Revival”: The supernatural noir has been canceled after just one season, reports Matt’s Inside Line.
The series (which aired its Season 1 finale back in August 2025) is an adaptation of the comics series by Tim Seeley and Mike Norton, and chronicles how, one day, those who recently died in a rural Wisconsin town suddenly come back to life. “But this is no zombie story,” reads the official logline, “as the ‘revived’ appear and act just like they once were. When local officer and single mother Dana Cypress (Melanie Scrofano) is unexpectedly thrown into the center of a brutal murder mystery of her own, she’s left to make sense of the chaos amidst a town gripped by fear and confusion where everyone, alive or undead, is a suspect.”
In addition to Scrofano, “Revival” also stars David James Elliot (“JAG”), Romy Weltman (“The Pradeeps of Pittsburgh”), and Andy McQueen (“Coroner”).
Syfy’s only remaining original series is “The Ark.” The science fiction series wrapped Season 3 on October 14, but has not yet been renewed.
