Serafini Productions and developer Mike Ten provided an update on The Hambagu Shop today, revealing the release date. The game heads to Nintendo Switch on January 11, 2027.
The Hambagu Shop was just announced for the platform last month. Launch timing wasn’t provided at the time of announcement.
For those that need a refresher, read the following overview:
The Hambagu Shop is a cozy horror simulator where you work in a Japanese Hamburg Shop.
You play as Mari, who inherits her late grandfather’s Hamburg Shop, and she must learn to tend and care for the shop to keep the business thriving, no matter what the cost…
Grill Hamburg patties, stack it on top of fragrant rice, and add additional toppings before serving this delicious bowl of Hamburg Ricebowl to your lovely customers.
As you grow your shop, you will unlock a variety of sides dishes and beverages, with increasingly complex recipes to satisfy the unique tastes of your regular customers.
In order to run a successful business, you need to reinvest your profits into The Hambagu Shop to make even more money. That is probably the point of running a business anyway…
It is not all sunshine and cozy vibes in The Hambagu Shop. While serving customers, you may see haunting visions in the shop which led you the believe that the shop is haunted.
Fair warning: This game is not for the faint of heart. There will be creepy atmosphere, loud jumpscares, and unsettling story that slowly unfolds.
