(11:20 p.m. AEST) — Princess Cruisesis launching a new four-part TV series, “Chefs Ahoy,” featuring a raft of Australia’s most famous celebrity chefs.
Premiering on September 30, at 8:45 p.m. on Channel 9 and 9Now, “Chefs Ahoy” was filmed aboardDiamond PrincessandSun Princessand will see the likes of Dan Hong, Mark LaBrooy and Alice Zaslavky face off in a culinary competition, with passengers deciding the winner at The Captain’s Dinner.
Each episode will see chefs visit a different destination, exploring the local food culture inGreece,Korea,JapanandSpain.

After port hopping to in theMediterraneanand East Asia, chefs will cook their signature dishes to present their food to the ship’s crew onboard.
Hosted by Australian comedian Peter Helliar, the celebrity chefs will navigate their way around unfamiliar galleys, competiting to become the winner at the end of each episode.

Episode 1: Minoli De Silva vs. Courtney Roulston in Greece
Fresh from tasting their way through Crete, Courtney will square off against Sri Lankan-Australian restaurateur Minoli on Sun Princess.
Episode 2: Miguel Maestre vs. Dan Hong in Japan
Miguel will explore Japanese hot springs and premium Wagyu to take on Asian-fusion chef Dan Hong aboard Diamond Princess.
Episode 3: Mark LaBrooy vs. Khanh Ong in Spain
In Barcelona, Three Blue Ducks co-founder Mark will delve into Spain’s meat culture, while author Khanh scours the streets for some tapas inspiration before battling it out on Sun Princess.
Episode 4: Vincent Yeow Lim vs. Alice Zaslavsky in South Korea
Social media star Vincent and best-selling author Alice will be seen hunting down South Korea’s boldest flavours before a showdown on Diamond Princess.
