Joe Jonas Fronts Kenneth Cole’s Inspire Cologne Campaign & Sings a Hilarious Power Ballad – Where to Buy the New Fragrance
Joe Jonas is starring in a campaign for Kenneth Cole‘s new cologne, Inspire!
The 34-year-old Jonas Brothers musician was also unveiled as the Global Brand Ambassador for the fragrance, and he sings an original power balled in the advert, with a comedic twist.
Joe started teasing the campaign the week before, with a “This was all Joe’s idea” billboard and video teasers, leaving fans guessing what he was up to.
In the campaign video,Joe belts out a hilarious, original power ballad about the fragrance and being the “best smelling man in the whole damn town.”
The visual, directed byAnthony Mandler, starts with a disclaimer noting it was all Joe‘s idea, and continues “playing with traditional fragrance-advertising tropes through cinematic visuals, an over-the-top performance, and Joe’s signature sense of humor.”
“Fragrance campaigns have a history of feeling very serious and very sexy, so naturally we decided to take that very seriously,” Joe shared in a statement about the campaign. “Kenneth Cole really let me have fun with this and make it feel like me. We took everything you expect from a fragrance campaign and pushed it a little further. I love how it turned out, and most importantly, INSPIRE smells really good.”
Joe worked with Kenneth Cole and Parlux to shape the campaign, from concept to execution, and he truly delivered!

What does Inspire smell like?
The new fragrance “is a modern woody aromatic scent balancing bright citrus and aromatic spice with warm woods and amber.”
It features top notes of bergamot, lemon, and grapefruit, with middle notes of rosemary, cypress, and black pepper. The smell is based with cedarwood, oakmoss, and amber.
Christine Hassan, perfumer at Givaudan, created the new fragrance.
